SO....Who is Cactus5oul?
Gabrielle, also known as Cactus5oul is a retired & disabled Army Veteran, Virginia native, University Graduate and mother of 2. She runs an Online bakery and blog called Dipped & Delish. Inspired by her master hobbyist father and fueled by her many passions since age 12, Gabrielle has always had a secret passion for journaling, Quotes, & Writing poetry. Spoken word is something she has always thought she could do, but didn't realize how much she truly wanted to share her poetry until 2 years ago when she was presented with an opportunity to share aloud during an open mic night. She Discovered The Freedom and "inexplicable" feeling that came with telling her authentic story through poetry, and a new passion for spoken word was born. Being an author was never on her to do list until She realized it Aided in her healing and evolution. Her Silent prayers and determination to find true purpose lead to Hearing God ask her to write a Book, that would help unmask, free and heal others, and "The Spiral of Desire," was born.

The Spiral Of Desire is a poetic coming of age story; told through a series of poems that I wrote while praying, Journaling & healing through some of life's Darkest moments. I eloquently discuss my journey with divorce, 8 suicide attempts, depression & anxiety. This Anthology is full of EPIPHANIES, & PAINFUL POINTS; about grief, Drowning in Darkness, My debilitating IDENTITY CRISIS, GROWTH, finding my true voice, HEALING, and TRIUMPH! In your hands you will hold my very personal journal-ed thoughts EXPERIENCES, check points, my moments of weakness, my moments of clarity, Healing, & strength. My prayer is that it helps you Unmask your Shames, revealing a commonality that will actually set yourself; and those around you free! People just want to see themselves in the faces of others you see?! I pray my story can be a detour away from the spiral caused by the longing for UN-seasonal desires that will send you into a place of treachery! Being in God's perfect will, and staying tuned to God's Promise, Is Key! It is when our Human experience over takes over spiritual experience that we lose sight of our personal mission. My prayer for this book is that every 5oul that reads or even touches this book, is pushed into a season of manifesting purposefulness & Seasonal desires.
